As a world renowned appliance manufacturer, our client is known for their innovative and original designs. Today, they\'re the number one vacuum cleaner manufacturer in the UK, US, Tokyo, Western Europe and Australasia. And they\'re making big strides in other countries too. A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a highly talented candidate with both software and hardware skills, to develop their career with a truly unique company. You\'ll join an expert team in an informal environment where creativity is encouraged.
As an Electronics Engineer you\'ll be responsible for designing electronics systems for consumer and commercial products within the company\'s expanding product portfolio.
Initially you\'ll have a development-focused role, though there will be scope in the near future to create new ideas and methods of working.
Working on a variety of projects, as an Electronics Engineer your role will involve:
- Researching new technologies for new and existing products
- Systems analysis and requirements capture
- Hardware design and analysis
- Creating technical documentation
- Providing electronics consultancy to mechanical engineers
To be considered for the role of Electronics Engineer, you will need:
- A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or science discipline
- A broad skill set in electronics as well as a strong knowledge of physics, chemistry or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience of working in a similar field
Additionally, you will need to be a creative thinker and a problem solver, able to work with minimal structure. You will also have excellent communication skills, be self confident and self motivated.
